Continuing on child labour, I met Lal Bahadur at the Parliament Street traffic signal in New Delhi, last year. He has been selling books for three years now.
The picture below is one of my careful shots, where I work to understand the dynamism of the person I am shooting and take the picture only when I am absolutely certain. I pre-determine the look and feel of the picture.
The First Communion is usually an exciting event for both the children and their parents. After collecting refreshments and I guess a certificate, boys and girls will frantically look for their parents and run to them.
Girls at the Holy Ghost church in Bangalore waited with glee to visit the dais for their First Communion and also some cake and soft drink after prayers. Each of them were dressed in their best white dresses.
